Description
NoizeClick Version 1.0: A Simple, Unique, and Powerful Kick Synthesizer
NoizeClick is a versatile and intuitive single-oscillator synthesizer designed to create custom kicks with ease. It’s perfect for crafting psytrance kicks, but it’s flexible enough for any genre, including hardcore. Forget hunting for kick samples – now you can design your own kicks quickly and efficiently.
Key Features:
- Click Zone
The Click Zone lets you shape the kick sound by modulating the pitch of a sine wave using complex envelopes. You can independently control the pitch of three frequency ranges with the Click1, Click2, and Click3 fields. Key parameters include:- Start
- Decay
- Curve
- Boost
- Effects Screen
The Effects Screen is straightforward and user-friendly. In the center, you have knobs to control effects, and in the bottom corners, you can select the filter and effect. This section includes:- Filter Selection (with active filter indicator)
- Effect Selection & Information
- Effects:
- Filter: A simple yet effective filter offering Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, and Band Reject options. Control the Cutoff, Resonance, and Gain for precise tone shaping.
- Distortion: Add powerful texture and punch to your kicks with the Drive and Shape controls. Increase distortion for a heavier, more aggressive sound – ideal for hardcore kicks.
- AMP Section:
At the bottom of the plugin, the ADSR envelope controls the amplitude, shaping the kick’s tail. Adjust Sustain and Release for a smooth, controlled tail, and manage the overall Output Volume.
Important Notes:
- No Presets: This version does not include presets, so you’ll be creating kicks from scratch. However, the intuitive controls make this process quick and easy.
- Compatibility:
- Windows: VST3 (64-bit)
- Mac: Audio Unit (10.8 “Mountain Lion” or better)
- Not compatible with Pro Tools, Catalina, or Big Sur (a workaround is included for Big Sur but with limited compatibility).
- System Requirements:
- 1 GB RAM (more recommended)
- 10 MB free disk space
- Modern CPU
NoizeClick is not a standalone product; it requires a host DAW. It’s compatible with nearly all major DAWs, making it a great tool for producers across different platforms.
