Xenobyte 2 is the next generation of the Xenobyte sound: dark, moving, digital and alive.

At its core are two wavetable oscillators that morph through 64-frame tables, from soft formant voices to growling FM and metallic spectra. Next to them sits a granular engine that turns any sample into evolving pads, frozen textures and drones. A classic third oscillator adds solid sine, triangle, saw, square or noise with unison.

Modulation is fast and visual. Grab an LFO and drop it on any knob. Colored rings show exactly how far each LFO moves the parameter, and small amount chips under the knob let you set the depth with one drag. Draw your own LFO shapes, or switch to STEP mode and turn an LFO into a sequencer that plays arps and melodies from a single held note.

Everything is on one screen. The MORPH view shows both wavetables in 3D with the playing frame in real time, and you can drag the filter graph directly. Nine effects are one click away, and the UI scales from 75% to 200%.

Load your own wavetables made in Serum, Vital, WaveEdit and other tools, and import your own samples into the granular engine. A fast custom browser lets you save, search, import and export presets.

FAQ

Does it work on Mac?
No. Xenobyte 2 is Windows only (VST3 64-bit and standalone).

Do I need to install samples?
No. All wavetables, granular sources and presets are built into the plugin.

Can I use my own wavetables?
Yes. Click LOAD next to Wavetable A or B and choose a .wav or .aif wavetable. It is copied into the Xenobyte 2 folder and stays in the menu.

Is there AAX (Pro Tools) support?
No, only VST3 and standalone.
