GANGLION

Fired Spatial Network · 8 Cells · 1 Feedback Web · 8 Functions

One hit. Eight cells. An evolving world of echoes.

Ganglion is a spatial delay processor built around eight interconnected delay cells. Fire them individually, in sequence, or as a cascading network, and transform simple echoes into rhythmic patterns, shifting stereo spaces, and dense, self-evolving textures.

At its core is an 8×8 feedback web that morphs continuously from isolated delays to cascading rings and fully entangled spaces. Each cell has its own decay, diffusion, tonal character, and animated function, giving every echo a life of its own.

Shape the feedback. Trigger the cells. Let the web respond.

Eight Cells. One Living Network.

Ganglion reimagines delay as an interconnected system. Each of its eight cells features an independent delay line, allpass diffusion, tonal decay shaping, and DC blocking. Delay times range from 5 ms to 2 seconds, with tempo-synced note values for precise rhythmic control.

The real magic happens inside the web. Adjust a single control to move from clean, isolated repetitions to cascading echoes and complex, interwoven spatial textures.

The Web

One continuous control transforms the feedback network from isolated echoes into a cascading ring or an entangled, evolving space. Its lossless matrix design maintains consistent energy as the network changes.

The Cells

Eight independent delay lines, arranged across left and right webs, each with its own diffusion, tonal decay, and delay-time modulation. Create everything from crisp rhythmic taps to smeared, shifting textures.

The Firing System

Trigger cells using input transients, a tempo-synced clock, manual clicks, or a combination of sources. Choose how the network responds, from single-cell hits to cascading chains and self-running cycles.

The Functions

Eight independent envelopes shape the behaviour of individual cells. Control their rise, fall, curve, and oscillation to animate four key parameters:

  • FOCUS — Control how exclusively each cell responds to the input.
  • BLOOM — Extend or gate each cell’s ringing tail.
  • BEND — Add expressive pitch sweeps of up to ±12 semitones.
  • SWELL — Bring fired echoes forward while pushing others into the background.

With adjustable modulation strength and spread, each cell can respond differently, creating a network that constantly evolves with your sound.

Five Ways to Fire

Choose how hits travel through the network.

  • INDEX — Fire a single cell selected by the SPAN control.
  • ROUND — Move through the cells one by one.
  • PARALLEL — Trigger all cells using divided clocks.
  • CASCADE — Each cell triggers its neighbour at its peak.
  • CYCLE — Let the network run freely and generate evolving patterns.

Shape Your Sound

WEB — Morph between isolated echoes, cascading feedback, and entangled spaces.

SIZE & SYNC — Set delay times from 5 ms to 2 seconds or lock them to your DAW tempo.

DECAY — Control feedback intensity, with self-oscillation available at higher settings.

DIFFUSE — Transform sharp repetitions into smooth, atmospheric washes.

COLOR — Shape the tonal decay, from dark, fading highs to bright, fading lows.

COUPLE & SKEW — Configure the left and right webs independently or interlace all eight cells for more complex stereo interactions.

RISE, FALL & CURVE — Design the timing and shape of each cell’s function.

STRENGTH & SPREAD — Control modulation depth and introduce variation between cells.

OSC, SHAPE & RATE — Add movement using ramp, triangle, stepped, or smooth-random oscillation, from slow drift to audio-rate modulation up to 2 kHz.

FOCUS, BLOOM, BEND & SWELL — Shape how each hit enters, resonates, changes pitch, and moves through the web.

TRIGGER & SENSE — Select input transients, tempo clock, both, or manual triggering, with adjustable transient sensitivity.

FREEZE — Close the input and hold the existing sound in the feedback network at unity gain.

MIX & OUTPUT — Balance wet and dry signals and control the final output level.
