Description
HydroSwarm
Four DSP Engines. One Living Instrument.
HydroSwarm is a motion-driven multi-effect designed for producers who think architecturally about sound.
Four powerful DSP systems — Filter, Delay, EQ, and Shimmer Reverb — work together inside a single instrument, transforming static processing into something dynamic, visual, and deeply interactive.
Every parameter moves. Every control responds. Every sound tells you what it’s doing.
Shape. Modulate. Expand.
Sound That Moves With You
HydroSwarm isn’t just another multi-effect.
Its interface turns every parameter into a visual instrument. Rotary controls animate with scrolling waveforms, spiraling patterns, and morphing geometries. Sliders become rotating 3D wireframe objects — cylinders, prisms, vortexes, and other forms that continuously deform as values change.
The animation isn’t decoration. It’s feedback.
You can see modulation, movement, and parameter relationships as they happen.
Meet the Modules
FILTER
Dual Multimode SVF Filter
Shape your signal with a powerful dual multimode state-variable filter featuring five filter modes and integrated ADAA saturation for smooth, characterful nonlinear processing.
Visualize your sound in real time with dedicated REACTOR and FILTER response modes, including a high-resolution magnitude response curve and independent left/right filter visualization.
Five filter modes. ADAA saturation. Real-time response visualization.
DELAY
Varispeed Flanger-Delay
Inspired by tape drift, clock manipulation, and unstable mechanical playback, the Delay module creates movement that feels alive rather than perfectly digital.
Combine varispeed modulation, flanging, stereo ping-pong, tempo synchronization, and flutter to create evolving delay textures that breathe, smear, and shift around your signal.
From subtle tape movement to unstable rhythmic landscapes.
EQ
8-Band Parametric EQ
A precision 8-band parametric EQ becomes a modulation instrument with per-band LFOs, five waveform shapes, host-tempo synchronization, and live visual feedback.
Drag nodes directly on the spectrum analyzer while watching the response curve evolve in real time.
Trigger LFO Freeze from your keyboard to capture and hold modulation movement exactly when you want it.
Precision EQ with movement built in.
REVERB
Algorithmic Shimmer Reverb
Go beyond the room.
HydroSwarm’s reverb is built around an 8-line Feedback Delay Network (FDN-8) with a Hadamard mixing matrix, creating dense, evolving spaces that extend far beyond conventional room simulation.
A CloudSeed-inspired pre-diffuser smears transients before they enter the network, while the shimmer engine feeds a +12-semitone granular pitch shifter back into the reverb.
The result is an endlessly evolving harmonic cascade — from subtle atmospheric lift to massive, otherworldly spaces.
Eight delay lines. Pitch-shifted feedback. Infinite-feeling harmonic motion.
A Visual Instrument
See Every Parameter
HydroSwarm gives every control its own visual language.
- Rotary knobs animate with scrolling waveforms, spirals, and morphing geometries.
- Sliders become rotating 3D wireframe forms.
- LFOs reveal their movement visually in real time.
- Spectrum displays respond directly to your signal and processing.
- 23 unique geometric shapes create a visual vocabulary for the instrument.
The interface doesn’t just show you where a parameter is.
It shows you what the parameter is doing.
Built for Parallel Processing
Master MIX
A global MASTER MIX control sits directly in the title bar, giving you instant access to parallel processing across the entire instrument.
Blend the fully processed signal back with your dry sound without reaching for another plugin.
One control. Instant parallel processing.
Learn Without Leaving the Instrument
Every control supports right-click LEARN, providing direct access to its corresponding online documentation.
No hunting through manuals.
No guessing what a parameter does.
Right-click. Learn. Create.
